Urban Announces Star Packed 09 Tour

Keith Urban has announced the star studded list of those artists who will be accompanying him on his 09 tour. The list includes Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, the Zac Brown Band, and Glen Cambell. We may see many mega tours like this during this summer due to the economy and dwindling attendance at many of the largest festivals this summer/fall. Tickets for Urban’s tour will go on sale at the first of the year but the tour will not start until May, the tour is expected to go throughout the summer and fall months. Urban is already known for his great live shows but with the added star power you can be sure you will be getting more than your moneys worth. The tour will accompany the release of his yet untitled 5th studio album.

to be honest i really wasnt wanting to see these mega tours. I would rather pay more money to see the artists in a club setting instead of a huge stadium. you just dont get the same feel when it is in a 80,000 person stadium. i wont be buying any tickets to it

Keith’s shows are not stadium, but arena shows. Quite a difference in capacity. I agree, I do not like to attend shows in stadiums, such as Kenny’s. I have just purchased tickets to four of Keith’s shows for the new tour. One is in an outdoor setting, the other three are arenas. Keith’s live show is absolutely the best I have ever attended.
