Toby Keith is not known for his ballads but more for his party and comedic style country anthems. Toby Keith’s latest single “She Never Cried in Front of Me” is surely going to be a hit single with enormous potential. The song is great relief from his previous single “She’s a Hottie” which never seemed to catch on. “She Never Cried in Front of Me” is about a husband who is dealing with ex-wife getting married and how he never knew when things were wrong because she never cried in front of him. The song is not one that will stand out such as other Toby Keith hits but with its melodic and catchy chorus along with great lyrical content it may be another number one hit for Keith.

What a wonderful review, but then how could it be anything else. No one sings a ballad like Toby Keith. Never really thought about it being from the standpoint of an ex-husband; just thought about it being an old boyfriend with regrets, but that’s what makes most of Toby’s songs so great, everyone can relate to them in one way or another.
I actually thought it was an ex husband but it really could be ex boyfriend or husband either way. I heard the song on the internet (youtube) and didnt know who it was at first because it didnt really sound like Toby but after a few more seconds i heard that it was him by his voice and was amazed by the track and it has been on repeat since
this has been driving me crazing wondering WHAT it was about…. an ex boyfriend, hubby, or maybe she is even a widow?? can’t wait for the video to come out so we can see what Toby is thinking!
Took it as an exboyfriend…and yes, speaks to many I’m sure. I don’t listen to country, happened on it on the radio that I rarely listen to. Trying to figure out the one that I love…trying to move on when he says, I’m so glad we can be best friends after…but wondering if he really just thinks that it’s just to late. Never been unable to move on, been really good at it actually. I hope that when I do…this will not speak to him perfectly. Hope he speaks up before its to late.
