Taylor Swift - Picture To Burn
Taylor Swift releases yet another single from her self entitled debut album which is now double platinum. “Picture To Burn” is a fun song about getting revenge on an ex-boyfriend but I would have to say this is by far the weakest single off the album.
The song plays to her audience of younger girls but we tend to think alienates older fans as the song is a very immature sounding, radio disney type song. The song feels more like a live recording then a studio cut with it being pitchy throughout. Even tho this song would have sunk her career if it were her debut single it will give her army of fans something to request at radio and keep her on the charts clear into summer while getting ready for her sophomore release. I think the song will still do good because anything she puts out seems to go straight to the top no questions asked but I don’t think this song will catch on as easily as songs past such as “Tim Mcgraw” and “Teardrops on my Guitar” because the song is no way near the caliber of those. Taylor Swift should be around for years to come as long as she doesn’t outgrow her fanbase but of course “Picture To Burn” will be another song that may not be that strong but of course will go flying up the charts.

i think the song is great it may not be my favorite off of the album but when you see her do the song live you get a whole different appreciation for the song
I dont like it and I dont like Taylor Swift because I am 47 years old and when I look at a singer I expect them to be able to sing all notes including high notes and Taylor cannot do this no matter how hard she may try but the way she gets around them is by half screeching/half yelling (its hard to explain because it isnt really singing at all) she just is popular because she is young, tall and has blonde hair and blue eyes) and knows how to con people into doing things for her. I think she has used everyone she has met to get something for herself!!
