Tim McGraw will join the short list of country superstars that include Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash, and Dolly Parton when he hosts Saturday Night Live on November 22nd. He is hosting the show in order to promote his various ventures from his cologne to his new holiday film, “Four Christmases”, out later this month.

The 43rd annual Academy of Country Music awards followed a predictable award show program with cleaned up and cut up performances as well as awards that go to artists that make you say “Why did they get that”. The awards kicked off with a few minutes of comedy from host Reba McEntire who did a great job throughout the evening moving the lackluster show along even through the most boring of parts.
