The 43rd annual Academy of Country Music awards followed a predictable award show program with cleaned up and cut up performances as well as awards that go to artists that make you say “Why did they get that”. The awards kicked off with a few minutes of comedy from host Reba McEntire who did a great job throughout the evening moving the lackluster show along even through the most boring of parts.
