Kenny Chesney continues furthering his status as a country music legend with leading in nominations at the 2008 CMA awards. The 43rd annual Academy of Country Music awards followed a predictable award show program with cleaned up and cut up performances as well as awards that go to artists that make you say “Why did they get that”.
