In our recap of the CMA’s there were many things that ended up good and a few things that just didn’t vibe so well but overall it was a pretty forgettable and dull night of awards. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood did a good job hosting the awards with a few moments of corny preplanned humor that never goes over well on any awards show but it always happens.

Kenny Chesney continues furthering his status as a country music legend with leading in nominations at the 2008 CMA awards. Chesney lead nominees with seven being closely followed by Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles with six.
