Single Review: Blake Shelton - I’ll Just Hold On

Blake Shelton - I'll Just Hold OnThere are certain artists that seem to pick great songs that are a perfect fit for radio, Blake Shelton is one of those artists, and “I’ll Just Hold On” is one of those songs. The second single from his latest album, Startin’ Fires, is the single “I’ll Just Hold On” which is another journey of heart-break of someone holding onto everything they have from someone even though the feelings of love are not always mutual. This is another strong follow-up for Blake Shelton as his last single “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” hit number one on the Billboard country charts.

The latest single provides a signature Blake Shelton sound that is a safe bet to do well on radio as it mixes a traditional country voice with a modern country rhythm. Overall “I’ll Just Hold On” doesn’t have anything negative that blatantly stands out in it other than maybe being slightly too safe and sounding very similar to his other singles but I think this will be another great single for Blake and it has a great chance of being another number one hit to add to his already impressive list of singles as of late.

Rating: ★★★½☆
