Kenny Chesney - Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven

If there is one thing that Kenny Chesney is known for it is picking good songs. The songs can range from sexy tractors to seeing your children grow up and move away but he always seems to be able to pull through making the songs hits in his unique way. His latest single “Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven” is an upbeat song with a more positive and fun vibe than expected after looking at the titles subject. The songs based around how people all want to go to heaven but at the same time how many do not act in a way that will get them to heaven and no one wants to go right now.

The song is a mix of story telling and humor as it is not meant to be a serious song as with that topic things may get a little rough trying to make it all serious. “Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven” is the first single coming from his tenth studio album “Lucky Old Sun” from his own record label in a joint venture with his longtime label BNA Records. The song itself is while a good song it is nothing that will go down as top hits in Chesney’s catalog with songs such as “You Had Me From Hello” or “The Good Stuff” which are seemingly unable to be topped. Overall what we end up with is an average song by Chesney’s standards that has very little replay value, it will be interesting to see how the song moves up the charts.
